چکیده
An optimal control problem for a semilinear parabolic partial differential equation with memory is considered. The well-posedness as well the first and second order differentiability of state established by means Schauder fixed point theorem implicity function theorem. For corresponding quadratic cost functional, existence proved. necessary conditions are presented, including investigation adjoint equations which linear measure coefficient operator. Finally, sufficiency optimality condition local

Optimal control of a semilinear parabolic equation with singular arcs
This paper develops a theory of singular arc, and the corresponding second order necessary and sufficient conditions, for the optimal control of a semilinear parabolic equation with scalar control applied on the r.h.s. We obtain in particular an extension of Kelley’s condition, and the characterization of a quadratic growth property for a weak norm.
متن کاملComputing Optimal Control with a Quasilinear Parabolic Partial Differential Equation
This paper presents the numerical solution of a constrained optimal control problem (COCP) for quasilinear parabolic equations. The COCP is converted to unconstrained optimization problem (UOCP) by applying the exterior penalty function method. Necessary optimality conditions for the considered problem are established. The computing optimal controls are helped to identify the unknown coefficien...
متن کاملOptimal control and Riccati equation for a degenerate parabolic system
In this paper, we consider a stabilization problem for a fluid flow. For a perturbation of the velocity of an incoming flow on a flat plate, the laminar-to-turbulent transition location varies. We want to stabilize it by a suction velocity trough the plate. The linearization of the nonlinear model around a steady state solution leads to a linear degenerate parabolic equation. We look for a suct...
متن کاملSolving the inverse problem of determining an unknown control parameter in a semilinear parabolic equation
The inverse problem of identifying an unknown source control param- eter in a semilinear parabolic equation under an integral overdetermina- tion condition is considered. The series pattern solution of the proposed problem is obtained by using the weighted homotopy analysis method (WHAM). A description of the method for solving the problem and nding the unknown parameter is derived. Finally, tw...
